Resolved Question: New Cell Phone, getting dozens of wrong number calls a day.?
So i switched cell phone providers 2 days ago. They gave me a new number with this phone instead of switching my old number over. Since then i have been receiving voice mails from some school about my kids attendance record, calls from work asking me to come in early and other strange calls asking for people i dont even know.
The thing is i have no kids, im unemployed and i really havent even given this phone number out to anyone but my parents right now.
Do they recycle phone numbers or something? Will the phone company switch and give me another “less popular number” or would it be useless, do i stand a chance of just running into the same problem again?
Have you ever ran into a problem like this with a new phone number?

Thank God i have unlimited minutes, i’d be pissed if i was having to pay for these calls.
