Resolved Question: Is this a sign that they like me…?
So today in the afternoon i went down to the basement of my apt, in order to recycle my plastics bottles etc. As i waited for the elevator, this pretty girl was also waiting as well. I opened the door fpr her, and in a nice and feminine voice she said thank you. As the elevator headed up to our respective floors (i lived in the 4th and she lived in the 5th), she pulled out her cellphone and i can can tell she pretended to text and play with her cellphone, she began humming nicely. As i got to ky floor, i opened the elevator door, and she too walked out (which was weird since she lives in the 5thfloor), she told me thank. once again but then realized she stepped out in the wrongz floor, and said wrong floor. Did this girl seem interested in me. This was not the only time this happened, a few weeks ago in my job i waited for the elevator and when it opened a very pretty girl was there and she and i made direct contact as the door opened. I went in the elevator, and she pulled out her cellphone and seemed to play with her cellphone and also started humming. Does a girl hum around a guy she finds attractive. -Her own Laptop (Trust me, the only icon she got on her desktop is the recycle bin becuz she doesn’t know how to ‘drag and drop’)

I think that’s it… But one time she came to my place and she knows that my family is low income she purposely wore her Bench hoodie, TNA Jacket, True Religion Jeans, etc!!! She knows that i don’t have any of that and she wore all of those to make me feel bad.

I am not trying to be mean nor rude, but she isn’t too smart… She thought that you had to GET iTunes… She doesn’t know how to download anything, she has never downloaded anything in her life, She studies at home but never ever pays any attention, she doesn’t know how to change her profile picture on Facebook, or etc, She is pretty much below average in all subjects…..

And ever since she has gotten an iPod Touch, she’s been wayy different. She’s always talking about it and leaving my out of them, plus whenever I just want to move on and forget about it she just reminds me about it AGAIN.

NOTE: My family has low income as I said earlier, It’s pretty obvious that I am jealous since I don’t have anything she has and she doesn’t even know how to operate most of them. I would actually KNOW how to operate most of them! Not that I’m bragging or saying that Im awesome at everything becuz no ones perfect…

Resolved Question: Please help me pick my phone from Sprint?! 5 stars. (Samsung Replenish, Motorola XPRT, iPhone, etc)?
I want a new cellphone because I have been using a basic phone with cricket for years.. I want to upgrade to 3G or 4G. I decided to pick sprint yet I am torn. I love the new eco-friendly phone called the Samsung Replenish because it is made of recycled materials and it lowers my monthly payment by $10 compared to any other 3G/4G data plan. The only problem is the camera is 2mp and I take a lot of pictures.. I was looking forward to a lovely camera more than anything. I noticed the Motorola XPRT has a 5mp camera and it is $0 for new customers. My question is should I pick one of these free phones and if so which one? I was more leaning towards android, but I don’t know the difference between android and iPhone. I could wait until taxes next month and buy an iPhone 4 ($100) or iPhone 4S ($200) too. That would be a 5mp or 8mp camera phone, respectively. My friend has the iPhone 4S though and says the camera sometimes blurs for some reason. Motorola PHOTON™ 4G and the HTC EVO seem to also have 8.0mp cameras. I’d love anyone’s opinion about these phones if you’ve tried them and the differences between iPhone and android would be lovely too. 5 stars for best answer!

Resolved Question: Who gave Conservatives the impression that cell phones provided by employment agencies have unlimited 24 hour?

The reason those phones are provided is that many people no longer have land-line phones. Also, in this day and age potential employers expect people to answer right away when they are calling prospective employees. It’s very difficult for people who have no phone service at all to get messages. Furthermore, the phones used for these programs come from the phone recycling drop-boxes you see in some stores and are not purchased brand new. Finally, all of the phones offered by various state employment agencies have limited service plans so the phone is only usable during regular Monday through Friday daytime business hours. Finally, calls on those phones are subject to review and users are billed directly for use of the phone that is not directly related to child-care or job-hunting.

Where is this misinformation coming from suggesting that people are being given phones with unlimited 24 hour service?

The only phones provided via Federal Agencies are those for women who are victims of domestic abuse and those are only good for calling 911.
@ Di – if you look at the conditions of the plan you’ll see that it’s entirely in line with what I’ve said. 60 to 70 minutes per month doesn’t leave any time for chatting. Offering roll-over minutes on such a plan isn’t very helpful.

Voting Question: I can’t stand my family!? Help!!?
I’m a young teenager and I can’t stand my family! I know people have probably heard this A LOT, and it is not like its hormonal changes, because I have always not liked them. I’m the youngest (of 5 kids). I used to hate my oldest brother but now I like him because he doesn’t tease me, he’s 21. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. My brother thats closest to me in age is the one I fight with most. I know all families have fights, but not like this. He ALWAYS has to be right, even if he is completely wrong. When he doesn’t get his way, he hits me…hard. Whenever I call my parents to ask for help for them to sort out whatever it is we were fighting about they say they don’t wanna hear it. They tell me to figure it out myself…even though I am 100% sure they know there is no reasoning with my brother. He does things that he knows piss me off, and he does them just to piss me off. And another thing, I can’t stand my parents, my mom is a b!tch and wont try to reason with me, and she doesn’t punish my brother for doing these things to me. My oldest brother, the one I like now, hates my mom. She’s his step mom, and he tells me all these horrible things about her and what she does. I never noticed before, but all the things he says she does, are completely true. Like, she always tells us to do stuff like clean the house and our rooms and do the dishes and take out the trash and recycling, and I understand that these are our chores, and I’m fine with doing them, its just that she complains that they never get done! I do them every single time she asks me to! I know I’m just ranting and this doesn’t really seem bad to a lot of you guys, but thats just because I don’t know how to put it in words. She just gets me so angry. Today because she was being so unbelievable, I told her I was going to be just like my oldest brother and never talk to her, or do what she asks, and I told her to never expect me to listen to her and stuff like that. I said I don’t care if you ground me, take away my laptop, my cell phone, whatever, I can’t stand her. I still have a long way to go before college so I’m still stuck with her for a long time. And also, my dads an alcholic, and sneaks around drinking… So anyways I’m not really sure what my question is here, I just want to know if there is a way for me to get away from this horrible family. I want to get adopted but there are many kids with worse families that should get new homes, and I wouldn’t want to take that away from someone, plus there not abusing me as much as other parents abuse their kids so they wouldn’t see that as a reason. Ugh, sorry for going on and on but I really needed to say that and get help- oh yeah I have a therapist but I have had some before and they never help.

I am seeking to recycle all of my handheld eletronics; and obtain one that has the ability to perform the tasks of all of these devices. However, the sales representatives at the AT&T, Sprint, and Apple stores swear that you need a data plan to operate the phone. One of them said that I wouldn’t be able to access the internet. Another told me that I won’t be able to use the MP3 player, ITunes store, or applications. While another said I wouldn’t be able to make a phone call. I know that I will be able to access my phone and MP3 player. What I would really like to know is what is the purpose of a data plan?

-Her own bedroom (Yea I know, your probably thinking “So what? it’s jut a bedroom!” Yea, true. What I’m trying to say though is that she has 2 rooms! she doesn’t need that now does she?)

-Pair of Uggs ($200, and it doesn’t even match her style because she jut too tall….)
-TNA Jacket
-2 Bench hoodies
-Most of her jeans are from True Religion
-About 6 bottles of perfume for Lascoste and a few from GUESS.
-Her own Laptop (Trust me, the only icon she got on her desktop is the recycle bin becuz she doesn’t know how to ‘drag and drop’)

I think that’s it… But one time she came to my place and she knows that my family is low income she purposely wore her Bench hoodie, TNA Jacket, True Religion Jeans, etc!!! She knows that i don’t have any of that and she wore all of those to make me feel bad.

I am not trying to be mean nor rude, but she isn’t too smart… She thought that you had to GET iTunes… She doesn’t know how to download anything, she has never downloaded anything in her life, She studies at home but never ever pays any attention, she doesn’t know how to change her profile picture on Facebook, or etc, She is pretty much below average in all subjects…..

And ever since she has gotten an iPod Touch, she’s been wayy different. She’s always talking about it and leaving my out of them, plus whenever I just want to move on and forget about it she just reminds me about it AGAIN.

NOTE: My family has low income as I said earlier, It’s pretty obvious that I am jealous since I don’t have anything she has and she doesn’t even know how to operate most of them. I would actually KNOW how to operate most of them! Not that I’m bragging or saying that Im awesome at everything becuz no ones perfect…

Resolved Question: Please help me pick my phone from Sprint?! 5 stars. (Samsung Replenish, Motorola XPRT, iPhone, etc)?
I want a new cellphone because I have been using a basic phone with cricket for years.. I want to upgrade to 3G or 4G. I decided to pick sprint yet I am torn. I love the new eco-friendly phone called the Samsung Replenish because it is made of recycled materials and it lowers my monthly payment by $10 compared to any other 3G/4G data plan. The only problem is the camera is 2mp and I take a lot of pictures.. I was looking forward to a lovely camera more than anything. I noticed the Motorola XPRT has a 5mp camera and it is $0 for new customers. My question is should I pick one of these free phones and if so which one? I was more leaning towards android, but I don’t know the difference between android and iPhone. I could wait until taxes next month and buy an iPhone 4 ($100) or iPhone 4S ($200) too. That would be a 5mp or 8mp camera phone, respectively. My friend has the iPhone 4S though and says the camera sometimes blurs for some reason. Motorola PHOTON™ 4G and the HTC EVO seem to also have 8.0mp cameras. I’d love anyone’s opinion about these phones if you’ve tried them and the differences between iPhone and android would be lovely too. 5 stars for best answer!

im a freshman in college and unemployed. im havin a very difficult time finding a job so i resorted to other alternatives of getting money (LEGALLY). btw i have a boyfriend so i want and need to keep money in my wallet at all times we want to go or do things. I don’t want him to think im a gold digger only wit him for his money so i want him to know that im contributing to our relationship financially. so far i have been taking my unwanted shoes and clothes to various consignment stores around where i live and i’ve been getting pretty good money but with me and my boyfriend both bein in college, havin 1 car (as of right now im gettin mines in a year) and wantin to stregthin our relationship by doin activities its been diggin a hole in both our pockets. i’ve also started collecting aluminum cans to take to our local recycling center. but since i havent cashed in my cans im not sure how much im going to get. I’ve also takin some old books to resale stores and sold our old cell phones but im still not sure of other ways im able to put just a lil money in both our pockets. any advice or sources will be appreciated and welcomed. Resolved Question: Who gave Conservatives the impression that cell phones provided by employment agencies have unlimited 24 hour?

The reason those phones are provided is that many people no longer have land-line phones. Also, in this day and age potential employers expect people to answer right away when they are calling prospective employees. It’s very difficult for people who have no phone service at all to get messages. Furthermore, the phones used for these programs come from the phone recycling drop-boxes you see in some stores and are not purchased brand new. Finally, all of the phones offered by various state employment agencies have limited service plans so the phone is only usable during regular Monday through Friday daytime business hours. Finally, calls on those phones are subject to review and users are billed directly for use of the phone that is not directly related to child-care or job-hunting.

Where is this misinformation coming from suggesting that people are being given phones with unlimited 24 hour service?

The only phones provided via Federal Agencies are those for women who are victims of domestic abuse and those are only good for calling 911.
@ Di – if you look at the conditions of the plan you’ll see that it’s entirely in line with what I’ve said. 60 to 70 minutes per month doesn’t leave any time for chatting. Offering roll-over minutes on such a plan isn’t very helpful.

I’m a young teenager and I can’t stand my family! I know people have probably heard this A LOT, and it is not like its hormonal changes, because I have always not liked them. I’m the youngest (of 5 kids). I used to hate my oldest brother but now I like him because he doesn’t tease me, he’s 21. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. My brother thats closest to me in age is the one I fight with most. I know all families have fights, but not like this. He ALWAYS has to be right, even if he is completely wrong. When he doesn’t get his way, he hits me…hard. Whenever I call my parents to ask for help for them to sort out whatever it is we were fighting about they say they don’t wanna hear it. They tell me to figure it out myself…even though I am 100% sure they know there is no reasoning with my brother. He does things that he knows piss me off, and he does them just to piss me off. And another thing, I can’t stand my parents, my mom is a b!tch and wont try to reason with me, and she doesn’t punish my brother for doing these things to me. My oldest brother, the one I like now, hates my mom. She’s his step mom, and he tells me all these horrible things about her and what she does. I never noticed before, but all the things he says she does, are completely true. Like, she always tells us to do stuff like clean the house and our rooms and do the dishes and take out the trash and recycling, and I understand that these are our chores, and I’m fine with doing them, its just that she complains that they never get done! I do them every single time she asks me to! I know I’m just ranting and this doesn’t really seem bad to a lot of you guys, but thats just because I don’t know how to put it in words. She just gets me so angry. Today because she was being so unbelievable, I told her I was going to be just like my oldest brother and never talk to her, or do what she asks, and I told her to never expect me to listen to her and stuff like that. I am seeking to recycle all of my handheld eletronics; and obtain one that has the ability to perform the tasks of all of these devices. However, the sales representatives at the AT&T, Sprint, and Apple stores swear that you need a data plan to operate the phone. One of them said that I wouldn’t be able to access the internet. Another told me that I won’t be able to use the MP3 player, ITunes store, or applications. While another said I wouldn’t be able to make a phone call. Resolved Question: Please help me pick my phone from Sprint?! 5 stars. (Samsung Replenish, Motorola XPRT, iPhone, etc)?
I want a new cellphone because I have been using a basic phone with cricket for years.. I want to upgrade to 3G or 4G. I decided to pick sprint yet I am torn. I love the new eco-friendly phone called the Samsung Replenish because it is made of recycled materials and it lowers my monthly payment by $10 compared to any other 3G/4G data plan. The only problem is the camera is 2mp and I take a lot of pictures.. I was looking forward to a lovely camera more than anything. I noticed the Motorola XPRT has a 5mp camera and it is $0 for new customers. My question is should I pick one of these free phones and if so which one? I was more leaning towards android, but I don’t know the difference between android and iPhone. I could wait until taxes next month and buy an iPhone 4 ($100) or iPhone 4S ($200) too. That would be a 5mp or 8mp camera phone, respectively. My friend has the iPhone 4S though and says the camera sometimes blurs for some reason. Motorola PHOTON™ 4G and the HTC EVO seem to also have 8.0mp cameras. I’d love anyone’s opinion about these phones if you’ve tried them and the differences between iPhone and android would be lovely too. 5 stars for best answer!

Resolved Question: Where can I get a “paper” phone book?
With all the cellphone, internet, etc. craze it almost seems as though “Fahrenheit 451″ is getting closer to becoming a reality rather than science fiction. I have tried to find a method of obtaining an actual paper phone book with yellow/white pages, government pages, maps for my area. My LAN line carrier is out of such a directory and will not have any new ones for 6 months! I have the internet and a cellphone but sometimes I just want to grab a book and look up a number. It costs 1.50 in my area for directory assistance. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to acquire a comprehensive paper phone book? I have even tried the dump and once someone has dropped off an item for recycling that item can not be given to the public.
